The Influence of Technology Advanced to the Children

The Outline:

1.      Introduction;

2.      The Causes and Effects:

-          Parents provide TV in the children bedroom. The children become lazy to study;

-          The children playing game more frequently than study. They cannot be creative;

-          The children always watch TV. They cannot be discipline;

-          The children using internet. They like to make something instantly rather than use their creativity;

-          The parents do not choose the appropriate TV program for their children. They always follow what they have watched;

3.      Conclusion.

Lately, the rule of technology in human daily activities is appearing. Almost all activities are done by using technology equipments such as wash, cook, writing, etc. Technology helps us to do anything and make our life seems easier. All inventors try to find the new invention in order to complete human life. All are aims to make life become instantly. There are many things have changed because of technology advanced. Of course, it is not only brings the positive effects but also negative effects, either for adult or children. There are some common less positive things that have been influenced the children’s way of thinking as the outcomes of technology advanced.

First of all, TV is one of the common things. Almost all people have it in their home. Sometime the parents provide TV in their children bedroom in order to complete the furniture in it. They do not realize that it can make the children are prefer to watch than study. Now days, the using of TV for children must be controlled by their parents because not all TV programs are appropriate to watch. Sometime, the program is not educated that can result as a bad influence to the children. Also, if the children are spend much time in watching TV can make them less desire to study. So, the rule of parents in controlling their children for watching TV is necessary here.

Second, playing is one of the children’s necessities. Even now we are rarely hear about studying during playing. Now, as the result of the technology advanced there are many types of equipment that provide games in it which are aim to the children even adults. But, the serious less good effect are for the children, they can play easily every time and everywhere. So, there is no the willing to study. If like that, the parents should take a part to manage the activities of the children in order to make balance between studying and playing. Actually, if the parents success to combine between studying and playing the children can be a creative one for instance, the parents choose the game that can help children study about the name of the animals, cities in Indonesia, etc.

Third, still about watching TV. Watching TV is a good thing to do moreover if the program can increase our knowledge. Now, there are many children spend much their time in the front of TV watching their favorite programs such as, cartoon, power ranger, etc. So, they do nothing. If the parents always let it happens. Slow down it will become their hobby. If like that, of course will be difficult to lose. Then, they might be less discipline one. So, the parents should prove the problem early by making a schedule for their children and ask tem to obey it. Also, can help them being discipline as well.

Fourth, one of the outcomes of the technology advanced is International Network (Internet). Again, it helps us to do something quickly and easily. All have been provided by internet. We can access it anytime and anywhere by using laptop. So, not only adult but also children can do it. There are many negative effect of the internet for the children, some of them are make them become less creative even plagiarist especially for the children who are as a student. Take the example, the children get homework from the teacher make a paragraph about family then they might not make it by their selves but looking for it in the internet. After get the result, they just copy it and write it down, so simple. Again, the rule of parents is needed to settle the using of internet for their children.

The last point is about the influence of the children’s attitude from what they have watched either on TV or Internet. There are many uneducated programs that TV has provided. So, if the children watch it, later they will follow what they have seen. So, the parents should accompany their children when they are watching both in TV and Internet. For instance, the children watch the action film (full of fighting) after that they are going to practice it as well.

In conclusion, we could not control the advanced of technology but the using of it. Now, technology is widely used not only for adult but also children so the rule of parents and all people surrounding are needed. Because, there are many negative things that can happen when they use it without the control of the parents and al people surrounding, some of them are less willing to study, can not be a creative and discipline, being a plagiarist and act like what they have watch.
