Writing IV

v  What do you think of Writing IV class by using discussion method?

Answer:

Well, my personal opinion about this class is very interesting class. There are some reasons to prove my feeling about this class they are:

1.        The first reason is because of the lecturer. For both lecturers, Mr. Muhsin and Mr. Waris are kind lecturers. That is why, I really enjoy this class in each meeting. They always give us some jokes while they are teaching. Then, not only jokes but also motivation that can motivate us to do more in our study. In addition, especially for Mr. Waris, he always insert some religious advices in his lecturer. Shortly, they are good lecturers.

2.        The second reason is we get different knowledge about anything (general) which is going to discuss in Writing IV class. Especially in Mr. Waris class, we are divided into some groups. Then, every group has to choose the interesting topic also make it into paper like article. Finally, present it. In presenting the article, the audience, in this case we all the members of class A get oppertunity to ask some questions which related to the topic so we can share and the presenters at the end of their perfomance have to make a conclusion in order to make it clear.

3.        The way of the lecturers in deliver the class is become the third reason of mine why this class is interesting. Especially, in the Mr. Waris class we not only study about Writing IV class but also speaking skill and structure. So, I can say Writing can cover several skills in English. This style of learning Writing I think can prevent the boredom in enrolling the lecture. Also, can help us to increase our ability in speaking.

4.        The effect of this class is become the last reason. One of the main effects that very important and valuable is can increase our self- confidence to stand in the front of audiences/ public. This is very urgent thing cause later on (God willing) we will be educator either teacher or lecturer and of course has to have ability in explaining the matterial to be taught.
